My Poop Troop, LLC – Service & Payment FAQs

💳 How do I pay?

We use a secure client portal where all payments are processed. If you signed up through the Instant Quote button on our website, your account will already be active. If not, a My Poop Troop representative will create your account for you and email your login credentials.

Inside your client portal, you can:

  • View and download invoices
  • Review records of past cleanups
  • Link your credit/debit card to our secure system

Once your card is linked, invoices will be automatically generated and charged, with receipts sent directly to your email.

Important: Your card must be linked before our team arrives at your home. If it is not, we’ll attempt to call or knock on your door. If we can’t make contact, your cleanup will be rescheduled to the next available date—which may be delayed during peak times. Need help linking your card? Call us anytime at 201-406-0565.

📅 Do you bill monthly?

Yes. Billing takes place on the 1st of each month for that month’s services.

  • Initial or one-time cleanups are charged the same day service is performed.
  • If you are on a bi-weekly or monthly plan, you’ll be billed for the initial cleanup and the remainder of the current month upfront.
  • Your next payment is due on the 1st of the following month.

Note:

  • Services are billed monthly and are non-refundable. If you cancel mid-month, we’re happy to continue service through the remainder of your billing cycle.
  • Accounts not paid by the first cleanup of the month will be temporarily removed from the schedule until payment is received.
  •

⏰ What time will you be at my home?

We’re unable to give exact appointment times since our routes are optimized daily for efficiency (keeping costs lower for you!). Routes typically run 7 AM until dark.

You’ll always receive a text alert when we’re on the way:

  • Standard notice is ~60 minutes before arrival.
  • If you’re first on the route, we’ll send a 15–30 minute notice instead (so we don’t wake you up at 6 AM!).

Your scoop day will remain the same each week. If we ever need to adjust your day, you’ll be notified in advance.

🐾 Do I have to be home when you clean?

Nope! You don’t have to be home. We just need easy access to your yard.

  • We’re happy to clean with your dogs outside as long as they are friendly.
  • After each visit, you’ll receive a photo of your closed gate for peace of mind.
  • If it’s our first time meeting your dogs and you’re home, please let our technician know before letting them out.

We love all animals—that’s why we started My Poop Troop, LLC!

🎉 What happens if my service day falls on a holiday?

If your cleanup day lands on a major holiday, we’ll skip that week and do a double cleanup the following week. You’ll still be billed for that service since we’re removing two weeks’ worth of poo.

🧴 Do you disinfect your equipment?

Absolutely. We disinfect after every cleanup with an organic, kennel-grade disinfectant to prevent the spread of germs between yards.
